Each summer, the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (SEALI) holds an outstanding maritime law seminar. The location varies by year, with this year’s event taking place Thursday, June 19 through Saturday, June 21 at the Omni La Mansión del Rio, San Antonio, Texas. The program features lectures and presentations on a variety of topics by experienced maritime law practitioners, with a lunch speaker on Friday and cocktail events Thursday and Friday evenings. The SEALI Seminar provides a unique opportunity to discuss issues of common interest in the commercial marine, cruise, and recreational boating industries, and to network with maritime attorneys from around the Southeast, typically drawing between 200 and 250 maritime lawyers per year.
