The London Maritime Arbitrators Association 50th Anniversary Dinner and Conference

The London Maritime Arbitrators Association are celebrating their 50th Anniversary on 18 March 2010 with a ‘Sell Out’ Conference and Dinner at Guildhall 675 guests are attending a ‘sell-out’ celebratory dinner in the Great Hall, Guildhall next week to mark the LMAA’s 50th Anniversary. Lord Clarke of Stone-cum-Ebony and Mark Jackson, Chairman of the Baltic Exchange are the guest speakers. During the day the LMAA are hosting a major conference which will be opened by Lord Lloyd of Berwick: 200 participants from all over the maritime arbitration world will attend. As part of the celebrations the Lord Mayor of London is hosting a reception at Mansion House the previous evening, 17 March. Attorneys from states other than New York may be entitled to CLE credits for attending the program. They must contact their states’ CLE boards regarding obtaining CLE credits. CLE financial aid assistance is available for attorneys who wish to attend CLE courses sponsored by the Maritime Law Association of the United States, but who find it difficult to attend due to cost considerations.
